A Pink Town???

I forgot to mention a few things a couple posts ago when we went to the concert in another town (and Leah did a terrific job!):

The town (still don't know where we were) was all decked out in PINK!

We were told they were decorating for an annual town festival that celebrated the color pink.

Yeah, I thought it was weird too.

Anyway, it was a really pretty town - despite the pink. Here are some pics of the trees decked out in pink and other pink things:


























So after the concert that night, we were walking home and saw that the moon was out, pretty full, and was just creeping over the edge of the mountain with some wispy clouds accenting it and giving it a really cool look. Right next to it, was an old castle/fortress (not sure which, we haven't been up to see it yet) that was lit up. The combination was pretty breath-taking. We tried to take pictures, but I couldn't figure out the correct settings on my camera, so it turned out pretty grainy and dark. Maybe we'll have another chance some other time.
