"Mondays in Novafeltria"

Leah figured out that every Monday is "Market Day" in Novafeltria.

yay.

Every vendor from miles around must come to this thing. They close off the entire center of town and the vendors set up their vehicle stands for the morning. Most of it is clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. There were also a few vegetable and fruit vendors, pots and pans, knives, that sort of thing.





Monday was also our first rain in Italy!

I saw the clouds rolling in, but I wasn't sure if I was excited about it for two reasons:

1. Leah was supposed to be coming back from a short rehearsal. She did, and was completely soaked.

2. I had just put out the laundry to dry.

The rain, in total, didn't last long. It came down pretty strong for about a half hour, but then trickled out over the next hour. By the time Leah had to go back to the Teatro for her evening rehearsal, it was sunny and the clothes were drying again.

That was Monday in Novafeltria. Over and out.


Tonight I hope to get some pics and video of one of Leah's rehearsals, and she might write the blog tomorrow!
